The health and safety of our guests is our top priority so please see our safety steps below to ensure your enjoyment while keeping safe.

Sandy Safety Steps

The health and safety of our guests is our number one priority, so we are here to ensure that you have a fun and relaxing, but confident experience. Introducing the “Sandy Safety Steps”, a thorough guideline to proactively reduce the risk of the infection of the Coronavirus in The Bahamas.

Safe Check Ins

Arrival

Our staff will wear face coverings and gloves to process parties at check in, sanitization stations will also be available at arrival. Guests will be required to queue with safe distance between them and only the lead traveler will be permitted to queue in the check-in line in order to avoid clusters of people.

Physical Distancing of 6 feet

Open Air

Given our expansive property this is not an issue while at Sandy Toes. During the transportation process on our catamaran, which is open air, all guests will be required to wear a mask, and all safety measures for sanitizing and disinfecting our seating and handrails on the boat have been taken.

Stable/Healthy Staff

Same Teams

Staff will work in the same teams to make it easier to detect any chain of infection and follow it. Staff will also be wearing face coverings.

Lunch Service

No Crowds

Tables will be spaced 6 feet apart and lunch times will be extended to avoid any crowding.

Snorkeling

Clean Gear

Extra measures are being taken for disinfecting and sanitizing all snorkeling gear. Sandy Toes provides all snorkeling gear necessary for our snorkeling experience however guests are also welcomed to bring their own gear, if they are more comfortable doing so.

Training Staff

Guest Safety

All staff have been trained in new safety and health measures and are taking the utmost care in serving our guests.

Sandy Toes would also like to highlight that we have a maximum guest capacity on the tour to accommodate only one vessel/wave of guests to Sandy Toes in the morning and only one vessel/wave of guests on the return from Sandy Toes in the afternoon. We do not run shuttles nor change participants throughout the day.
